3ft+ silver question

I have had my silver arrow for about 11 years & he has pushed pass 3ft & is about 12 inches tall in the largest area. I was in China for a week & my wife was caring for him & all my rays. I am VERY aware ov Vacation Disease as I have lost my first ray because of it. My question is... I know I had a huge bacteria build up, because my wife did not clean the filter floss enough which caused shrimp shells to be dropped into the filter area where the almost clogged the punp pickup. My tank is 2500 gallons & the pump is huge &&& I feed up to 4lbs of shrimp a day to my rays so you can imagine how many shrimp got into the filter... I have an auto water change system that kept all the bad stuff away & I have a HUGE UV filter, but still there were about three solid cups of shrimp goo... Here's the question, My large silver arrow lost a scale on the top of his back before I left & now that I am back there is another, but they are very dark. No big deal I have seen him pull throught worse... The reason I am writing is because it also seems like his scales are flared out just barely, this may be me over -reacting, but I have kept fish long enough to know sometimes you have identify illness before it gets bad like the worst illness Vacation Disease........
 
Take a picture... Sound similar to bloat.
 
It may well be nothing more than a reaction to stress or the dreaded 'vacation syndrome' Keep a close eye on it and post pictures if you can.
 
12in. in height? wow, can't wait of the pics...my jardi went thru something similiar acouple of months ago, thought it might be some kind of scale protursion, but my water parm were excellent. how is it's slimecoat? turns out my fei feng was eating his slimecoat (jardi is 13in./fei feng is 6in.) took the fei feng out and the jardi scales/slimecoat returned.
