3in silver???

Picked up a 3inch. silver on wed. I have had good success with larger ones but have not tried to keep any this small. He ate baby crickets good the first two days and has fasted for the past two. Is this O.K? Any suggestions would be helpful.
 
i would have to say that it is good that he already ate the 1st 2 days you had him. he is probably now realizing he is in a new tank and kinda freaked him out. if anything try new foods if he doesnt take the crickets anymore.

When my silver was that small, he did real well on freeze dried blood worms.
 
mine loved fd krill.
 
try a huge variety of foods and do what you can to keep him comfy.
Keep the lights off and be careful with tankmates. many small water changes is better than a few big ones when they are small and fragile/
 
Seems ok since he ate the first two days...just keep feeding him gut loaded crickets and try some dry krill or shrimp and worms..aros love worms!!
 
water changes like crazy! Keep the water 100%!!!! I feed them blood worms and tiny gut loaded crickets and little pieces of FD krill. After feeding, vac ANY leftover food and keeping the lights off is a good idea too. I actually don't have any lights on my baby silver tank, but it gets some natural light from a big window.
 
Thanks to everone for the help. He just ate three small pieces of fd krill. Will not even look at the baby crickets he ate before. Will try the fd bloodworms. What temp should I keep the water?
