Pool manufacturers/installers keep 3M in stock. They use it in some mixes.
You can try calling them and asking them how much it would be to buy a bag or two. Most places will do it.

Call Metro Sealants in Linthicum MD and pay them and tell them to transfer a bag to their VA location and you will pick it up in Lorton. Bam there you go. I have a couple hundred punds in my tanks.

Kinda late but I called metro and they sold all thier stuff at least in linthicum to another place in Baltimore im going friday to pick up 100lbs. Its $36.42 for 50lbs for the black T grade.

damn that's expensive. Metro only wanted $22. They told me in the fall they would order it.

So does that mean that they just sold all their current stock to RAM Resinous Flooring & Quartz Supply, Inc.? Or is metro done with supplying the sand?

Metro told me they had no more room for it and sold all of it to RAM. By the sounds of it they were not getting more but don't quote me on that. I'll be picking some up Friday I hate to spend that much on sand but I need it.
