3m color quartz?????????????

So my grade-t just came in,and im going to take out the natural gravel in a few minutes.

SO IM ASKING CAN I PUT THE THE T-GRADE IN THERE WHILE THE FISH ARE STILL IN THE TANK.

i've done it........just rinse it really really well, put it in a clean plastic bag, sink the bag to the bottom of your tank and slowly release it, this way your tank won't cloud from the sand so bad.

no problem, also, I try to have the sand warm from some warm water, instead of freezing cold - you could chill your tank off. I usually add a few drop of chlorine remover to the sand also..........just to be safe...

Empty it into the tank slowly. 3m should settle to the bottom fairly well. Good luck and post pics after your done.

It came out fine,without staining the water but it wasn't enough.So ill have to order another 50lb bag just to get about 20lbs that i need
