3M color quartz ?

Has anyone had any experience with this? Would you recommend the t-grade or the s-grade size? Is the s-grade too fine?

i use both, i like both depends on the tankmates though. i prefer the t-grade

S grade is extremely fine. I would get T grade.

I've haven't used t or s grade. Its too expensive to get any where I'm at.

I use Estes Medium Broadcast. Its similar to the S grade. You can find it in any wholesale or large paint supply store. I pay $24 for 50 lb bags. It comes in about 16 or so colors. Its very heavy sand. You can use a gravel siphon to clean it just fine.

Do you know what the Estes Medium Broadcast is made out of? I take it you have had no problems with it?
