Absolutely. If you want Tahitian moon sand, then by all means, you should get that. This is 3m colorquartz. I prefer it to sand 10 times out of 10, but that's just me. I've been keeping fish for a long time, and for me, this is the ideal black substrate. It's not for everyone, but it works well for me. I get the black sand, but I can vacuum it like gravel. It's smooth enough for my tigrinus and zebra pleco's bellies. It stays aerated enough that plants do very well in it. Tahitian moon sand doesn't offer all of that. For me, it's ideal.
Also, this is black colorquartz.
For Tahitian Moon Sand:
I see Petsmart at $25/20lbs.
I see Petco out of stock, but at $17 on special.
I paid pretty close to what I'm asking, but I'd let all 3 bags go at $125 firm. It's still in the unopened bags, and well worth the price asked.
