I have (3) 50lb bags of colorquartz grade T. The price is $50/bag. Email me if interested.

Edited to add: Northern Va, no shipping, etc, etc.

IDK JMHO but if its black at $50.00 a bag and 50lbs a bag thats $1.00 a lb. Tahitian Moon black sand is 20.00 at pet smart for 20lbs thats 1.00 a lb.

Thats on sale of course normal price is 25.00 so thats thats 1.25 a pound normally and you can have it today.

so by the time you pay shipping your charging more for what someone can go buy and have the same quality.

3m colorquartz is better than moonsand (imho)the 3m colorqaurtz is heavier than the moon sand and doesnt get thrown around as easy, depending on the color i would take that road trip 3m colorquartz is hard to find now a days.

Absolutely. If you want Tahitian moon sand, then by all means, you should get that. This is 3m colorquartz. I prefer it to sand 10 times out of 10, but that's just me. I've been keeping fish for a long time, and for me, this is the ideal black substrate. It's not for everyone, but it works well for me. I get the black sand, but I can vacuum it like gravel. It's smooth enough for my tigrinus and zebra pleco's bellies. It stays aerated enough that plants do very well in it. Tahitian moon sand doesn't offer all of that. For me, it's ideal.

Also, this is black colorquartz.

For Tahitian Moon Sand:
I see Petsmart at $25/20lbs.
I see Petco out of stock, but at $17 on special.

I paid pretty close to what I'm asking, but I'd let all 3 bags go at $125 firm. It's still in the unopened bags, and well worth the price asked.

If you do not like the OP's price, please pass on the thread and hit backspace. There is no reason to question or price shop in someones thread. The OP didn't mention anything about pricematching different brands etc..

Clay feel free to report those posts (and this one) if you would like them cleaned up and removed from your thread. GL with your sale, I would LOVE to get my hands on 3M, that's quality sand.

How is this stuff with gravel vacs? I have some mystery black sand that will get sucked up by my gravel vac. Might be interested in a bag and I'm pretty close. are you firm on your prices?

There was also a guy a few weeks ago looking for black sand.

its great on gravel vacs, i love it and i vac like i would regular gravel.
