Update :This is my 3rd week my 12 in Fahaka, feeding him every 3 days mainly crayfish, crabs, and snails. Active now and then but loves his little corner! So far he's with a pleco and peacock eel, both keep to themselves and know to get out of the way. He's a big lazy boy lol, I had 10 danios with him that were to much energy for him to chase; he was interested at first but then realized they don't stop moving lol. I did take out the danios though as they didn't interest me much and just added to bioload. Here are some pics!IMG_0435.JPGIMG_0444.JPGIMG_0430[1].JPG

^ Seems healthy and happy...

BTW, did you throw a dwarf puffer into your fahaka tank? That must be quite the sight, although hows that working out for you? since my g/f is always asking me to do the same thing except i'm worried my fahaka will eat them they are so small...

I had a separate tank for them and planned to do frequent water changes and add hot water for heat since the tank was relatively small, however overnight the water cooled way down and killed two so I had to transfer them. They don't even notice each other, my fahaka doesn't go too far from his corner often and the squishy is less than half an inch right now. I'm a little worried for when he gets bigger and hopefully I'll have them separated by then, that either the dwarf will nip the fahaka or fahaka will go after the dwarf. The size of the tank and deco would help the dwarf hide I believe but if he gets too close I don't think it would go well, respecting boundaries is why I think the pleco and peacock eel right now works.

In my tank i think my yellow lab would probably kill the dwarf...

Considering he even tries to get my fahaka to move by biting her on the side, although my puffer just ignores him like an annoying younger sibling...

I think the yellow lab just doesnt bother my fahaka enough for her to care...

Although im sure my yellow lab also knows not to push his luck...
