lesson learned.. DO NOT PUT FLOWERHORNS WITH ANY OTHER CICHLIDS.. i learned the hardway.. the florns(flowerhorns) started picking at the other cichlids eyes, then they eventually ate the heads of every cichlid, and left the rest of the bodies there.. i mean wth.. why cant ya just finish them off!??

related story.. i needed to put my florn(8") somewhere for a week, my friend had a 8" jardini in a 80 gallon tank. i told him it'd be fine, they'll have a blast together.. sure enough, the next day the arowana's head was missing.. wth!??

hahaha yea.....i did the same. everyone said my 2 fhs would b fine until 6" when they hit fish puberty.

lo and behold...2 days after getting them my male has killed everything in the tank apart from the female fh and including a 2ft plec!!

my female is now in a community tank with barracuda, cats, polys, bgk.
the male had his own tank lol ...but sadly i lost him while i went to florida a few months ago. he was a beauty!
