This is my first Arowana. I have seen a ton of threads saying they can't get them to eat. It was surprising to see him eat flakes. The flakes come from EverythingAquatic on eBay. I'm using a mix of Insect Trio Flake, garden veggie flake, and African Cichlid Flake for Omnivores. On top of that, Omega One plankton, Top Fin Arowana pellets, and Hikari Vibra Bites. He seems to like the current also. I have a wave maker running and only turn it off for feeding. Maybe, this can help someone having issues in the future.

I was going to start offering hikari bio gold mini pellets do you think that’s good? Or what do you recommend as a daily staple ?

Hikari food sticks are working for me. They are a good size. I just split them in two. None of my fish really like the North Fin Arowana pellets.

have worked with many arowana importers and every one of them feeds this on the regular. pretty affordable to..
Mine doesn't go after anything that doesn't float. As far as I have seen, it hasn't dove any deeper than halfway in the tank. I tried frozen krill but it has sharp parts in it that could be problematic.
