Has anyone seen a GG with 4 instead of 2 of the whiskery streamery looking fins they have? It may be a common thing but there isnt heaps of them in Aus and the ones i have seen all only have 2. I got one today with 4 and was just wondering if its a diff species or something special or just a deformity or injury that has rehealed wrong.
They come out from 2 points like all the others i have seen but after a cm or so each side splits into 2.

Strange .............Never seen such a thing Ive keep many GGs over the years and live in Australia too but never seen or heard of any such GG! Are you sure its a GG half the time the Aquaruims dont know what the hell they are trying to sell or just call theGG to move them quicker. Could also be a Deformaty or a wound from a fight! Hope this helps ......but a pic would answer you question straight away!

I am 99.9% sure its a GG. Its def not any small species of gourami as its about 8" and its grey and looks like every other GG ive ever seen including the 2' one at work i see 3-4 times a week. Like i said it maybe some variant or something but im sure its a GG. I will get some pics of it tonight.
A deformity is possible i guess but i doubt its an injury as it has 2 on both sides and it looks fairly equal on both sides. Pretty fluky to get 2 exactly the same injuries on both that heal the same strange way.

Anyone else who see heaps of these got any idea's????

Pic?

Hate to repeat what everyone else keeps saying but, a Picture or two would help alot. That being said it's probably a deformaty or freak.
