4 ft sump help

hey guys just about to set up a 4x1.8x1.8 sump . i need to put the dividers in but have no idea on wats the best positioning of them , i have all the media all i know is i wamt my tank to stay clean lol . the tank is a 6.2x2.5 and i have double out lets and one in so can some one please help me or draw and pic with some measurments in mm thanks heaps. matt

well there are many ways to do this. Some do many compartments and what not, others do a filter sock with one section full of bio media.

I would probably search a bit about sumps and see the different ways, and maybe post a more specific question

oh ok thanks mate , i was just going to do the most popular way with the 4 sections but i was just curious to see if any body had a different design that they found worked alot better

No need for baffles to create different chambers. Rather, I think a single chamber that utilizes filter socks and then bio media. A large open area works great!
