ive been doing some research and now i realy want an indo. problem is that ill proly buy a 4 incher but i have a 11" florida gar. i wont mix them initially, ill have the dat in a grow out tank for a month or so untill i sell my pbass and he catches up to the gar. im hoping i could get him to about 6 inches before i put it in my 180 so at that point my gar wouldnt be able to do any thing cuz hes a pus pus 
if i was to power feed the little guy and get him on ms, pellets, and throw in the occasional home grown platy or red chery shrimp, how fast do you think i could get him up to size?
