any one ? i got him like i would say 3 mnths ago n hardly see him n have never seen him eat. i see him some times siff threw the sand like he is looking for food. but nothing. he always is skinny n swims when he does come out but goes right back to my clown loach. he acts like really any other loach but just doesnt eat. i medicated him once for parasites but nothing. still skinny. on the other hand my clown tearned around a lot n eats even more then he ever did.... any one ? am i not useing the right meds maybe for his paratise ? or do these guys just not eat much ?

The last two meds are very pointless. Kubotais are always one of the trickiest to become accustomed to domesticated feeding. Try to use levamisole hydrochloride and add garlic to the foods to coax it to eat.

oh i have garlic extract i never thought of using. and the other thing u names lupin were can i get that ?

Don't you have stores there that sell farm supplies? They're usually sold for cattle. Problem is the med is old fashioned and being replaced by flubendazole and fenbendazole so it may be a little tricky to find it. It works very well though for suspected internal parasite problems, which often are the cause of anorexia among loaches.

yeah we got stores but this isnt farm land around were i live. ima have to google search n order it online. thnx

What about praziquantel Lupin? Soaked in the food?

Yes, you can but prazi is very limited in its capability to eliminate internal parasites. It's stuck to tapeworms and flukes only. Levamisole on the other hand can cover the three types of internal parasites.
