it doubled from 2" to 4" in 2 weeks 1" a week...it eats shrimp, darters, pellets, ghost shrimp, and small feeders...i feed it 3 times per day, every day. i have been power feeding it to get it big enough to go in the big tank...i got some small sens today so i put the bass in the big tank early...i hope my gar, cats, and 19" aro...

I've had a LMB since early July and has not grown more than 1/2" eating freeze dried krill, masivore delite pellets, cooked shrimp, and feeder goldfish. He/she eats once a day and not lightly (as i was attempting to fatten it up), so why does his growth not match that of what is said here?

depends on the size of the fish now...also the temp of the tank...colder slower growth less food consumption...my tank is 84f...high metaliblisum and high food consumtion= faster and bigger growth...doing the same in my tsns...and my aro...once every thing is massive i will drop the temp to like 79-80 and reduce the feedings...
