Have any of you kept or are still keeping any 4-line pim catfish? How big was the biggest you have seen? Pics would be great, too.

I currently have 1.... Motionless piece of catfish...lays there waiting for food all day everyday.. when he was in the 300 he was always on the move... but tore up the fins of fish I quite frankly like more than him so I dunked his butt into a 20 wide by himself and he never comes out from behind a sticker on the glass... hides back there ALL the time!!

Biggest one I've seen was only 7".. mine is currently 5 1/2 and NOT Growing very fast :irked: to all those watching my 4 line experiment... I'm NOT Impressed!

Mine is around 6''-7'' and is pretty active but he does loaf around some times like to dash out a crab onto fins and fight with my pike cichlid Kinda funny till i start to see ragged fins them it gets annoying

Sounds a bit like mine. He's currently in my 30 gallon, and his day pretty much consists of hiding in his log until he's fairly certain nobody is watching, or if it's lights out, then he'll swim around the tank like he owns it.

Mine grew quite fast, going from the 3" (approx) when I got him, to the 6 1/2" he is now in around 7 months. He definately seems to be slowing down now, though. His barbels are still AS LONG as his entire body length -- if not LONGER.

Thanks for the response.:)
