i will b putting them in a 90 gallon for now.and i was wondering if these are okay to use as filtration and i will b adding a sump to the tank with a overflow ( one that hangs over the tank )

yes with sump and them you will be fine for a little bit... just keep up on your water changes...

dnt meen to be a burner but a 180 gallon 6x2x2 is acceptable for a sump for a stingray tank in reality you will need a 3-4 foot wide tank i know people always think that 1 foot isnt much difference but it is. i only say a 180 gallon is acceptable as a sump becuase if you have done any research you would know these animals produce massive amounts of amonia wich is fatal to stingrays so a massive sump is needed to dialute the water and hold a massive bio section 3x2x2 this is very important in a stingray setup. cvhances are you know all this your post was very brief therefore i couldnt gauge your knowledge of fw stringrays but good luck expect to be using the 180 as a sump soon:headbang2
