4 new clown loaches

ok so just bought 4 brand new clown loaches, about smaller than an inch, really small, but i got them 4 only $7 all together, problem is they have "skinny disease" so i fed them this medicated gel that treats internal parasites, now all of them r eatin live bloodworms, stomaches seems to be gettin full. But serious 2 of them r in bad condition when i got them i can see their skull, so question is can i get them back to perfect fat health? i mean i want them to get plump. i mean they r eatin

o yeah in case if u were wondering why i would get sick fish, i got them from meijer(sort of like a wal-mart), i felt bad, dead fish everywhere

Best way to treat skinny disease is the gel-tek you are using, or lavamisole HCL combined with a heavy feeding schedule. Snails are great, bloodworms, OK, pellets, flake food, mysis shrimp, glassworms, etc. Feed them a lot to purge the parasites.

ok so on MFK the skinny disease is cause by internal parasites, but on this loach.com site it says that skinny disease is cause by a bacteria

The 2 loaches that are so skinny that you can see their skulls are going to be very hard to bring back to health. Atleast that is what I've read. Gotta give you props for trying. I hate seeing sick loaches in the stores.
