Red ear sliders are aggressive predators that hunt in packs like wolves.:WHOA:

Anyone may use this pic in the future to talk people out of putting there fish with turtles. There were still feeder fish in the tank when we found them eating the oscar.

8-9' inch oscar, my friend put it in a tank with 4 small to mid red ears. I tryed to warn him, But i did not see it ending like this... I was worried about the turtles.

Eh, he could have been bigger. Not sure that's a 5 gallon bucket.

convits live with tutles or at least mine

I have 2 red ears at my house that live fine with a few large gold fish, but they kill plecos. I have noticed the gold fish that never get ate will strike the turtles when they get too close. Maybe the Oscar did that same thing but it hurt the turtle. Then the turtles starting attacking.... like swamp zombies...

I think when ever you add fish to a tank with a turtle or a new turtle to a tank with fish, you are taking a risk that your fish may end up a fish stake short of a full fish.

Wait, are you telling me that your surprised that 4 RES tore apart a fish?

Yeah. That's a big ass fish lol..

Yeah it is. But turtles, even those friendly looking red eared sliders, are damn savages with fish when they get hungry. When I had a couple outside a few years ago during the summer, I threw in two 7-8 inch goldfish that I caught at a local pond. You would have thought I had a tank full of snapping turtles. A day later there were just scales and a few bones left. They dont mess around when they decide that they want food.

yeah mine also whenever i put fishes with my 3 red eared sliders whether be it 3-4 inches or 7-8 inches they hunt them down in groups and after some days only the scales of fishes are left:WHOA:

That's not really a fair statement. There are turtles that can live perfectly fine with fish, like Stinkpots or Common Muds. Though RES should not be kept with any fish you don't want to be food, same goes with Painteds and some Maps.
