4" solid Black bubble disk.

Ok so I've been looking for a 4" all black bubble disk and I can't seem to find one anywhere. I know that Elite (I think Hagen) makes them but all the sites that I have seen them for sale in are from the UK. and it's not worth shipping overseas.

I've seen 1.5" around black air stones on Ebay. but I really would like a disk. So if anyone knows where to get one let me know.
 
thought about buying one of the blue ones and trying to dye it? using something like RIT? i know RIT is non-toxic. but not sure if it would leech back out into the water over time and discolor it or lose the color from the stone. you could always try it in an tupperware or something? just for S&G?

I've thought about spraying them with krylon but I don't want to clog the pores and I'm afraid over time it will peel off.

I'm going to keep looking and see what I can find I'm going to one of the bigger LFS near me this weekend they might have something. I think they carry elite products. I've got just about everything else I need for this tank ordered. this is the last piece I need to get it started. then down the road I'll just need to pickup another FX5

yeah, i didnt suggest paint because of the clog factor.. i would still say look into the dye though...
 
Aquatic Eco Systems has monster black ones.... Look purdy nice...
 
try marinedepot.com they have a little bit of everything. Although the blue one's are nearly just the same - as the color of the disk is masqued by the bubbles they put out.

there it is Thanks guys. I'll be ordering one today. Now I'll I have to do is get ahold of BigAl's and have them replace some stuff from my order that was on backorder. and wait for parts to come in.
 
I just called and the sales rep told me that the picture is wrong and it's acctually green with a blue diffuser. :(
