Looking for some opinions on keeping coral cats in a 48x48x17 tank. Im attracted to the square look very much. Other options are available (72x24, 60x36) that i know are adequate but i really dig the 4 foot square.
Let me know what you think.

IT would all depend on if it only will they are juveniles or for life. For juveniles - it should be fine. But for life I would go with a retangular design that is at least 3-4 ft wide and 8 ft long.
:iagree:the width is okay but a greater length would be better.

Ok so ive had a change of plans and once again i need some opinions. Whats better a 6' circle or an 8' x 5' oval? I believe the oval has more surface area. Just wondering if eitther one could hold more inches of fish.
Thanks again for the help.

Go with the 8 x 5.. Just curious why it's an oval vs rectangle?
Oval lets you have a circulating current and no corners so you can house bigger fish (or sharks)
