40 breeder tank from petco

Anyone know if the 40 breeder tanks from petco are drillable? If yes, which of the sides are drillable?

You will be best off finding out what brand the tank is and contacting the company direct. However, generally all sides are drill-able. The bottom however, is not.

The sides are definitely drillable, I drilled mine. I didn't try the bottom because I was unsure of it

+1 all side are good do not drill the bottom

PetCo sells the Aqueon brand of 40 breeder tank.
The bottom is tempered glass and cannot be drilled.
Front, Back, and Side panels are all safe to drill.

All of the Petco in my area have switched to selling Tetra brand 40 breeders. The bottoms are tempered but the sides are not.

Petsmart on the other hand still sells Aqueon tanks, but they are not included in their dollar per gallon sale.
