where can I find some for under $40? I tried HomeDepot and it was $45 for them. I need it for waterchange use so I don't need anything fancy.

First you want 9"...... now you want 40 feet! Wow..... :liar: :barf:

Here's something to consider.... Pay $45 at Home Depot for new or spend $40 on used and drive all over Los Angeles. Time and money....

(Joe only) I might be able to get a discount for tubing from my job... We use a vendor called MSC. PM me if you find it n ill tell you the price big dogg... Also, I use my python and just hook up a powerhead... 300 is half drained in 20min... 50gl takes about 4-5min n its 70% drained. Just a thought if you dont use a powerhead (Python didnt fit so I soaked it in hot water and put it on the powerhead... Walah!)

Yes, a 3/4" garden cost $50 from HomeDepot. That stuff is rated for industrial use and I don't need something that fancy. Doesn't the python use 1/2 hose? I am currently using 50ft of 1/2 hose and it's getting annoying waiting for it to drain. The draining takes forever. I run the 50ft hose to my lawn so I can water the grass.

why dont you just use two 50' hoese from homedepot.... they are like $6 a piece.. hell go nuts and get 3..

I came to LOWE this morning. For 1/2" hole it costs me 25cents/ft. I'm not sure for the 3/4" but it should be very cheap
I was at Lowe today, too. 3/4" hose is 1.22 cents a foot. That's over $50 if I were to get 50ft. I was looking for a cheaper alternative but might just have to stick to using my 1/2" hose until I can find 3/4" for cheaper.

Use your 1/2 hose an go buy a Rio Powerhead for under $40..... problem solved.
