i have heard some stories of people breeding alot of different cichlids in a 40 breeder, my question is what is possible to breed in a 40 breeder and live out most of it life a breeding pair is not all of it life

Umm all of it's life would be Salvini, FM's cons, HRP, JD's maybe a GT pair but barely, Most Acaras, Practically all Mbuna with a breeding colony ( one male 6 females) Angels of course, Grammodes doubt it though, Sevs you can get away with fish that don't grow over 9" or are very slow growers.
yup and add dithers so the pair dont attack eachother and they lean there attack on teh dithers and incase u dont now what dither is they are speedy fish to be targeted at by other aggression cichlids and exp of dither is like tiger barbs danios fish liike that
