Just finished cycling, currently have;

1x L008 (Leopard Pleco)
2x Bolivian Rams
1x Rainbow Shark (He's the most passive fish out of any of my tanks, he just hides in his cave for about 23 hours of the day.)

I want to throw some other fish in there, as this is just such a boring setup. No one moves, they all just hide in the bottom :(.

I was thinking of adding this;

1x Angel Fish
4x Hatchet Body Danios
4x Rasboras

Maybe some half-beaks? I don't know. Give me ideas please, I can't decide :nilly:

well with rams dont get anything with long flowy or colorful fins. hatchets sound good. that rainbow shark might geta bit more confident later and be a butt. Rasboras are nice too :)

dawg definitely get a nice angel
get some more rams i love rams :headbang2
lots of tetras!!!
oooooo make it a south american tank!!!!!!

What about an african butterly fish? My PH in that tank is about 6.2. The danios are pretty big, the rams are kind of small..

I think I'm definately going to put a half-black angel fish in there.

There is nothing wrong in mixing the Bolivian rams with angels.

Think twice before you want black angels. They're a little more challenging to keep than most strains there is. As for rainbow shark, how long have you had it? ABFs are fine but you cannot attempt torpedo-shaped community fish such as rasboras and most tetras with them.

I've had my rainbow shark for about a month and a bit, he is still very shy. I imagine he'll come out a bit more with some dither fish (angels, danios.)

I will hold off on the rasboras and the torpedo tetras, the hatchet danios are already quite big so they won't get eaten by a ABF.
