40 Gallon Breeder setup

HI,

I want to setup a 40 Gallon Breeder.... And I'm think of placing it on top of my hallway linen cabinet. My question is do you think over time it would hold up to the weight? I'll have about 40 LBS of sand and the weight of the glass tank and water.

I guess that will depend on how your linen cabinet is constructed. Can you post a couple pics of both the cabinet and the internal structure?

That setup would easily weigh 400 lbs.
I agree no one can make an accurate opinion without some pics and maybe a diagram of the construction also what material the cabinet is made with.
Is it fully supported or just attached to the wall?

if you have to ask,no.

Even if it can hold the weight, could it survive someone bumping in to it and not folding?

Yes, its attached to the wall. It's built in on the ground. I am a little skeptical... that's why I've asked. It currently has a 10 gallon, 5 Gallon Chi, Fluval Spec V. those would be removed.

It's 60x24.
