I've got a good sized featherfin (about 8") all by her lonesome in a 40 breeder. I was looking for some ideas for a tankmate or tankmates I can add with her.

hmmm... 40 gal huh? Hope you're upgrading soon... I'm thinking bichirs? Because they're both nocturnal and a little slow at getting to the food... So if you go with non-nocturnal fish they will just finish up the food before your featherfin gets it...
