40 gallon reef setup

i want to have a reef in my 40 gallon
with a clown fish colony
what sort of lighting do i need?
how many and how powerful powerheads?
and im going to have anenomes and
maybe a clam
ill also have proten skimmer to fit the size and
a emperor 400 hob filter

does this sound good?

and also with a reef do i put live rock
in and put coral around it?

you would want a wavemaker rather then a powerhead wat city are you in also rio is pretty crap brand!
 
i dont see why everybody thinks they need a moon light...

and unless there's some major flaws with the companies that make those.. they all seems lgit enough...
