40 gallon stocking help!!!!

ok the 55 leaks terrible after sitting overnite, so i cleaned up my 36'' long 40 gallon that i no is good what you all got for ideas i like cichlids, brackish, and oddballs of course i need some help thankyou

nobody can tell you what you like. youve asked a similar question 20 times all over the board.
the best thing you can do is go to your LFS and shop around. see what you like. observe the fish, see if you like the color, personality, or whatever it is that gets you off.

it depends on whether you want to go monster with cichlids and polys or piranha, or go for beauty with discus, angels, and tetras. or go brackish with eels and puffers. better yet go herp, definitley what id do

monster cichlids are not an option with a 40g tank.
piranhas are illegal in the states
