400 gallons fish recommendation.

Hello, my friend has a 400 US gallons cement pond. I wanna ask what large, aggressive or predatory fish can be living in there? Any large, aggressive or predatory fish are fine. Just not some fish that are 100% guaranteed to jump such as arowana, channa or hoplias.

Asia, Thailand. The hottest it can be is around 28-30 Celsius.

2.5 metres (diameter), it's a round pond. 35 cm depths. It's actually around 450 gallons, but I'm just gonna say it's 400.

2.5 meters / 8 feet round at 35 cm / 1.1 foot deep is a lot of surface area, with not much depth.

Most bigger fish (25cm/10"+)wouldn't be very comfortable in that shallow of water.
It might be a better environment for a group of medium(13cm/5" to 22cm/9") sized fish.

Salvini Cichlids might be a good fit. They can be colorful, aggressive and tend to stay in that medium range.

I'm a fan of a lot of the small and medium South American Cichlids, but they may struggle with the higher temperatures.

My approach would be... Think of anything that would be okay in a 55 gallon... then get a lot of them...

Smaller cichlids will be difficult to view from the top.
Maybe a big catfish or 2; red tail cat, tiger shovelnose, something you can see easily
Some nice koi, though not predators, would look great as well
