2.5 meters / 8 feet round at 35 cm / 1.1 foot deep is a lot of surface area, with not much depth.
Most bigger fish (25cm/10"+)wouldn't be very comfortable in that shallow of water.
It might be a better environment for a group of medium(13cm/5" to 22cm/9") sized fish.
Salvini Cichlids might be a good fit. They can be colorful, aggressive and tend to stay in that medium range.
I'm a fan of a lot of the small and medium South American Cichlids, but they may struggle with the higher temperatures.
My approach would be... Think of anything that would be okay in a 55 gallon... then get a lot of them...
