Have a few tanks going up right now but they're all cichlids so looking for something different. Was thinking 15 Exodons and a Senegal Bichir but not sure how well that would work out. I have only really kept cichlids for the past 5 years and not much else.

Looking for ideas for an oddball tank that has something you don't see everyday (or at least in my house!).

That bichir will eat your exodons. also if u want a bichir id suggest you get at least a 75g

how about a marbled sand goby but just him..

i got 11 exodons and 15tiger barbs. the exodons arent as aggresive as ppl say. they are pretty skittish and just chase each other around all day until feeding time and them it is a real sight. they even let my small clown loaches swim with them. the exos will eat almost every type of food so they are real easy to keep.

Or even a single fish in the tank. Just want something that's a bit different.

Oh and for reference a 40g breeder is 36x18.
