I'm planning on setting up a 40g long to breed cichlids. Any recommendations? I'm thinking Salvini, blue acara, or gymnogeophagus meridonalis. Either that or just stocking 3 groups of African cichlids.
I think it'd be cool to have two different pairs if there are fish that are small enough/won't be too aggressive. Also, what else is compatible with the gymnos' cooling period?
