40Gallon Breeders???????

I GOT 7 40Gal Breeders from a guy on craigslist. He said he got them from petco during their 1$ a gallon sale. What I noticed is they don't have a cross brace on them is this a problem? they are 1/4 glass height 17' length 36" and width 18"..... they are all brand new and he even threw in 2-29Gal and 1-20 long and 1-20 regular and 3 of those big lights you use in classrooms that hold 4 long florescent tubes and a box of replacement lights for the great price of 215.00... so anyway back to the 40's whats you guys take on the brace's. I would find a glass place to combined them all. If you are referring to the plastic bar down the middle my 40 doesn't have it either. I don't think they are made with one.

yea, I think im up to 25 now LOL... getting ready to build some mulit-racks and plumb them all together,well except 4 a 30 breeder and 20 long and a couple 10s for hospital... but yea i agree what have i gotten myself into

I have the same 40 gallon breeder from Petco, no problem at all. If you make lid for them make sure it's thick and big enough so it doesn't bow in the middle.

LOL!!! Thats the same thing my 11yr old said... dad you should use the gas glue(silicone) to put the all together... yea he's not the buildy bookwormie twin he's the sports jock.... the gas glue still cracks me up
