Just put two Jebao OW25s in my tank, a 4'X2'X2' for an extra 16,000 Liters per hour/ 4, 200 gph of current. I was a little concerned it might be a ridiculous amount.

Turns out it's quite nice amount of current.

I'm tempted to move them around and see if I can get the whole thing continuously swirling around rather than pointing roughly at each other.

Also, I thought I had a video editing app to crop out the stuff I jammed my phone into to hold it in place. Nope.

It does sound like a lot, but reef guys use number in excess of that all the time. Looks nice in the tank. Post more as you experiment.

You know that isnt a reef tank right TwoHedWlf TwoHedWlf but I honestly think as long as the fish aren't getting stressed out and stuff from fighting the water flow then every thing should be fine. It might put some wear and tear on the plants though. Strong water flow often times helped my cichlids stop fighting so much because they would be easily get tired from chasing the other fish in the water flow and have to take a break then forget why they were mad at someone in the first place lol.

What? It's not? I better stop putting salt in it then! :P

Nah, they've had a single RW-8, similar specced predecessor to the OW-25, in the tank for about 4 years. Lately it's started losing flow, so I thought it was time to replace it. They don't have any trouble handling the flow. Though, I'm kinda surprised how much debris it's kicking up into the water now...

Nothing compared to the severums tearing the plants up.
