420 Custom Job w Firemouths

okay well im just wondering if something like this setup would work for my 420 custom tank

15x Firemouths
15x Angel Fish
1x Jag
1x Texas
1x Red Devil
15x Silver Dollars

More? Less? diffrrrent fish? the main point of this tank is to have a whole spew of Firemouths interacting and then a ferw center piece fish.


What you think?
 
I don't have any experience with Angelfish but everything else sounds like it would work. Sounds like a pretty cool tank. If one of the big boys is too much of a trouble maker you could always re-home him.
 
Yes okay, well idk maby ill drop the angels and add in five more Firemouths. Cant wait cant wait post pics asap so u guys can see it. Also whats some plants that will work in here like i dont care if they get dug up i just dont want them to be eaten all the way.

There will be some trial and error for sure. I think frail little angelfish would get taken out, but again, I am unfamiliar with them. The rest of the tank might be alright. Look at Terd Ferguson's similar size tank of breeding Parachromis. All the fish look heathy and fine. The next 50 tanks stocked exactly the same would be bloodbaths though, lol it's weird isn't it. I have a Dovii in a 265g with about 20 other community fish. I just experimented until it worked...you know, if there's too many Firemouths, take out a few.
 
okay. Thanks. If this doesnt work theim going all mbuna. thats gonna be cool but i would rather do this
