Ok I am so excited I got a 44 gallon cornor fish tank this weekend. I am going to cycle it with goldfish first and move them to an outside pond after the cycle. But once it is cycled I am not sure what to put in it.
I want something colorful and no livebearers. I want it to be a very interesting tank. Do to the fact that I have a 10 gallon with a male betta and a 20 gallon with only one convict and want something different with more fish.

thanks any sujestions

yoyo loaches, kribs, school of red eye tetras, school of cardinals or rummy nose tetras and then maybe a smaller pleco of some sort. get some good lighting and plant the tank.

PLANT THE TANK AND PUT IN A BUNCH OF DWARF PUFFERS/PEAPUFFERS

OR:

PLANT IT AND PUT IN A NICE GRASS PICKERAL THEY ARE GREAT FISH THEN U COULD PUT 2-4 BICHIRS

i think a heavily planted (real or fake) with some driftwood and a rope/reedfish and some senegal, ornate, whatever bichirs would be an awesome corner display.

my 40gal has a senagal (soon to move my other one in), african brown knife, and 2 butterflie fish and im happy about it.

Hmm what about a panted tank with some red bogwood for the decor and you could keep

4 Female Betta Splendens
6 Corydoras Adolfi or Panda
6 Marbled Hatchets
6 Greater/Giant Danios

This might be a bit overstocked but you might be able to pull it off.

I like !

Planted tank with a nice peice of wood , sand substrate and with good lighting it should make a great looking tank .

I prob's would add a few ( maybe 8 or 10 ) Corys and a school of Cherry Barbs and/ or a school of Lemon Barb also a group of Shrimp .

The Pleco i would choice a Clown or 2 .
