45 gal stocking suggestion

I was think about getting two convicts and two convict only. The dimensions of the tank are 36x12x24. Would they have enough room? All suggestions are welcomed.

okay...how about any type of cichlids? I don't want something tiny, I want something to look at! Even if it means only having a couple.

Any suggestions?????????????????

Two convicts would work, but if you buy a pair you will soon end up with more than only two.

i'd go with one cichlid.... such as a Jack Dempsey or a solo bullhead or something.... getting into pairs gets risky with aggression

Get a breeding pair of convicts, its fun to watch them make babies.. once
