45 Gallon Change-Up

I've got a 45 gallon that is 36" X 12" X 22". It is a community right now with a bunch of fish. Any neat fish that could make this their permanent home? Maybe a pair or a single specimen with great colors and attitude? I'd want them to be able to be their for life.

I mean to post this is central/south american cichlid part of the forum. Do I repost there? Or does a mod move it?
