I will set up my 45 long as an oddball community. It will have Larger dragonfish, peakock gudgeons, glass knivefish, neon tetras, gold killies and so one. Does this list look good? what do you think would also work?

Unfortuneately I think you will need to go with a larger tetra than the neons, the pecock gudgeons , while not aggressive per se won't turn down a neon sized snack.
