45* vs 90* PVC Turns?

I thought this very recently BRS posted video comparing double 45* vs 90* with PVC 1" was interesting. I always thought a single 45* would be less restrictive than a single 90*. Didn't realize there was much a debate with dual 45* and 90*.

I know, I know, not the most fascinating topic in our hobby, but chime in for those who care...

Tl;Dr they didn't notice a neglidgeable difference between pumps going through two 90 degree bends and four 45 degree bends

I always figured folks use a 90 if they really needed to turn, myself included. So that wasnt a second thought. One 45, I can understand, but doesnt enable the turn.

One thing for sure. A single 90 costs less than 2 45s.

For the best flow you want to go with a sweeping elbow. I don't have patients or concern to find them
