450 Gal Readings

OH Guys & Gals,

I have just done a water test on the big tank and the parametres are as follows.

Ammonia 0.25
Nitrite 0.50
Nitrate Ran out of solution
Ph 7.2
Temp is 28 Degrees

I was going to do a 25% water change this weekend, Do you think I should still do so to help elleviate some of my readings, Or should I just leave it to cycle some more.The fish seem to be doing fine they are swimming around and eating well.

I have just added another 2KG of Matrix so I know have 5kg which is equal to 10Ltrs. along with the Japmat.

The tank has been running for 3 weeks now and has 2 x 20cm PBass 1 x 10cm PBass 1 x 8cm Salvini and 1 x 8cm Green Terror.

I am running a FX5 filter full of biomedia and a 5" Sump with the Matrix and Japmat.

I would do a water change everytime the ammonia hits .5ppm. Even if ti was everyday or twice a day. And about 50% at that.

sounds like the tank hasnt cycled..........water changes slow the cycle but help the fish
