looking for something like 96x48x36
also interested in prices if you have bought one would love to know how much you got it for.
oh and is it possible for all glass or is acrylic the way to go?

usually acrylic, since if it were glass, you would need a forklift to move it. im getting a 96x48x25 for 1000

yeah im a fan of all glass the pin striate no scratches is awesome and i always wondered how people would vac the tanks doing 180 gallon w/c doent sound so fun. do people use a different method

i think because of the size its not as necessary depending on stock.... a pleco in a 140 will take longer to dirty than a 500... i would probably use under gravel filters and stay away from sand to make life easier?? i do love my sand bottom though because as long as you keep up on weekly water changes the poops stays on top of the sand for the most part. also PFS is too heavy to get sucked up it always drops down mostly.

where did you find huge driftwood like that?

not my tank... believe it or not if you google there are a lot of places to get driftwood online. I use to be against ordering online but it's amazing what you can get... with such great customer service! just search around and call up a store, telling them what your looking for.

Personally I would get a glass tank. The saved weight will be negligible once the tank is delivered to the spot, filled with water and sand/ rock/ etc. I think acrylic scratches too easily, is harder to clean, discolors over time and doesn't make a huge difference in weight savings for the price you pay. Have a professional drill the tank for you, however.
