I have a 46 gallon tank. Right now it contains a little sailfin pleco, a reedfish and one red-tailed labeo.

You have any ideas what i can have in that 46 gallon? I was thinking about maybe throw out all fishes and everything and go for 1 single oscar. Maybe buy 2 convict cichlids or 1 big jack dempsey, but I can't choose.

I'm not interrested in a planted tank or some small fishes and stuff. I want a big fish around 10 inch, or maybe breeding convicts. Come with suggestions everybody!

I found out that i will go for 1 single Oscar. I'll buy a little baby oscar and when it grows up to 7-8 inch or so i will throw out the little sailfin pleco and my reedfish. Labeo will soon be out...

a 46 is still to small for an oscar
You guys sais that 55 is okey, and thats with gravel and decorations and stuff. With 6-7 gallons of gravel and 2-3 of decorations it'll be like 46 gallon anyways. I will have no gravel, no decorations, no other fish and good filtration as the Oscar hit 7-8 inch or so, I think that would work just fine...

Yeah get rid of whats in there and start again but now with an oscar. Why not go for a pair of Texas cichlids, they can get big.
You were serious right? Texas cichlid looks cool, but I really like Oscar better...
