This is my first planted tank. Low tech set up.

Filtration: AC30 with prefilter sponge

CO2: None

Lighting: Single T8 plant bulb(on for 10-11 hours)

Substrate: Seachem Florite

Stock: 2 giant danios to finish cycle. Will remove and stock with rcs soon.

Plants: Java moss, Java fern(standard and windelov), Anubias, dwarf hairgrass(purchased on accident, I know it will die without high light/co2), 1 random plant that came hidden within the Java moss.

Nice! Tank looks tall so make sure that light is penetrating the bottom and for carbon seachem excel works well and keeps algae at bay.

(the rock is there because I didn't add enough slate to the bottom of that piece of dw)

Here's a pic of the unidentified plant. Anyone know what it is? Has roots similar to anubias.uploadfromtaptalk1382675774082.jpguploadfromtaptalk1382675803294.jpg

Changed stock list from rcs to mollies got 3 orange marbled lyretail and 3 red Dalmatians. I like them. Will post pictures later once they color up some.
