Hello!

I have been thinking about building my polypterus their own forever home, and have not found a tank size that I like.

I was thinking about building a 48"x 32" x 20" glass tank. I was planning to use 12mm glass, and look for a safety rating of 3.8? What kind of bracing do you guys suggest? Are there things I haven't thought of?

Thanks you!

+1 to that, 10mm would be perfectly adequate for a 20" high tank (don't think they make 9mm glass). I would suggest having braces right around the edges of the tank if you're keeping polys, helps keep them in when they do their swim up and down the glass often breaching the surface thing.
