Do you guys think a grown fire eel would be happy in a 240 gallon 48x48x24 tank? I found one locally, right now hes only about 3-4 inches long, so i figure i have a while before he outgrows his 75, but would that be a good final tank or am i better with something longer?

imo he'd outgrow it in 5-6yrs... maybe not. that footprint would keep it happy for a very long time.
