4x aquclear 110s or 5x fluval 404s

Which is better?

Right now I have 2x aquaclear 110s and a fluval 404 on my 150 gallon. I can get 4x used 404's for $200 or 2 more brand new aquaclear 110s for $125.

While the fluval 404s would offer better filtration, i like the aquaclears because the fit perfectly onto the back of the tank and would prevent my peacocks from jumping out.

The 404's will give you more room to load with biological media. I have a 405 and think it is pretty great.

I like the 404's and the AC 110's. I have 3 404's and multiple 110's. Either way you will have plenty of filtration on your tank. Can you fit four 110's on the back of your 150? I wouldn't be able to.

use chicken wire for the back it works great for me blocks all my fish from jumping

Yeah thats what i was thinking with the 404s and yeah i train at cobra kai, marc moved to texas during the fall. His first black belt, Simpson Go, instructs us.

My 150 is 6', i can fit 4 ac 110's on the back of it and it leaves no gap.

Id go with the canisters if it was me. I have two fluval fx5s on my 150 and love them. If I had the money Id go canisters on all my tanks but since I don't just by 150 has canisters.

Thats a good idea right now I'm using saran wrap. How do you get the chicken wire to stay?

fx5s are awesome, i have two on my 240. planning on getting a sump as well soon. one of my friends told me the canister 4 series has a lot of complaints, so right now im leaning towards 2 more aquaclears.
