Looking for a good deal on a 4'x2' stand. Will pick up, needs be in sound shape, do not care about color or pattern. Canopy would be nice but is not a deasl breaker by any means.
 
Yeah J. That would be an easy DIY for you. Got a bunch of wood you can have for free just pick it up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys, my work schedule is out of control right now though. No time (or energy) to build anything decent looking. Easier to buy. :)
 
What are you looking to spend and how nice? I don't have anything in stock but I build aquarium furniture for a living.. well that and custom cabinetry.

I've never owned a brand new stand before so have no idea what the cost should be so I was looking for used. I love the idea of getting $$$ in the hands of a fellow hobbiest though. 4'x2' and black is really all I need, I'm simple.
 
If thats the case, you can buy a black MDF or pine cabinet at Petsmart if they still carry that size (they used to) for cheap. A couple sheets of good plywood, some hardwood framing and time in the spray booth would be $150 just in materials.
 
$167.99 at all hep pets. Was just there and all new pine black stand for ur 4x2' footprint. No need to bring out ur gold plated hammmer for build. Its in his showroom.

Thanks for the heads up Sam! That is a good deal. Could the doors fit an FX5 esily in and out? Snap any pics? I'll see if I can hitch a ride down there this weekend.
