i may be able to get a 4x2x2 tank as well as keep my 5x2x2. now i was thinking of moving my 2 uaru A. into the 120 and using the 150 for something else, but thats another post.
my question is what other cichlid would go ok in a 120 with 2 uaru, 7 clown loaches, 1 bristlenose plec, 4 golden gouramis?
was thinking FM or oscar or open to other SA cichlids but nothing too expensive though, i get too upset if an expensive fish dies cos they are generally really nice as well as the financial loss.
other suggestions are welcome too guys. thanks very much for the help!:)

Severum, chocolate, geos, festivums. I'd stay away from O's and FM's with uaru, it could work but not a great chance IMO.

thanks for the suggestion david but as said in original post thats a different post. only the 4x2x2 in this one please. the 5ft is not a concern at the moment.
thanks CTU2fan.

what about blue acara, i understand their may be some aggression issues with this one but opinions please.
should also ask how many more cichlids of about 6" or so. dont want any more large cichlids as i want my uaru to be the largest in the tank.

Blue acara can be a bit nippy, probably not too much for the uaru but maybe for the gouramis. Worth a try though, as they'd look nice in there. Could also do keyhole cichlids if they're not too hard to come by over there. I would think you could add 4 more cichlids if you're looking at things that are smaller than the uaru...I'd probably get 2 more uaru and a couple of something else that you like that's on the mild side.

ok so 2 more uaru if i can find any and a blue acara (my lfs has a really nice bright little one about 1"), cant get hold of keyholes at the moment as the ones at pets at home (like your petco etc) look ill TBH so i wont encourage that sort of behaviour from a shop. i think i will halt there so all of them have breathing space. one more may be too much i feel as its only a 4x2x2 so better to air on the side of caution.
thanks for the help and advice.
