4x2x2 filtration q?

Hey guys
I have a 4x2x2 growing out some cichlids. I have 3 festae 1.5 inches, 1 marbled fenestratus 2inch, 1 gt 2inch, 1 JD3. 5 inch, 1 texas2.5inch, 1 catfish 4inch

I have a sun sun 304b 2000lph with uv light cannister filter came with the tank. It came with a few bio balls and some rings. I have just added 2 liters of matrix and I am going to add 250ml of purigen. Do u think this is good enough filtration. I do 50% water change a weekly with gravel vac each time?
 
It's enough for now since you have tiny fish. Though I think I'd skip the purigen. Eventually, I think you could probably do with something like a second 304b

Won't the purigen keep ammonia down and keep the water clear as?
 
Sweet as I think I'll still add the purigen just as I've seen tanks with it and without it and the ones with it were always super clear. What do u think about a tidal 110 hob filter as a second?
