4x4x2 vs. 6x2x30

so what would be better to house fish that grow amongst the 2ft range give or take a bit a 6x2x30 or a 4x4x2 ?? and explain why you think one is better then the other
 
Far too little info givin about stock in order to provide a valid opinion.
 
I don't see either of those tanks holding and aro, Florida gar there whole life. They both get over 2 feet long.
 
I think the 6x2 would display better. I like the longer length and 2ft is plenty wide for those fish. I don't know anyone who's grown a florida gar over 2ft in an aquarium. 4x4 foot print takes up a lot of floor space outward from the wall. Myself I would go for the 6x2..

exactly my thoughts but the square tank could sit nicely tucked in a corner too :)
 
My Florida Gar is 16" and he's only grown 3" I a year and a half

I think the gar will do well in the 4x4. But I personally I think a 6 ft tank is too small for a pbass or aro.
